I’ll be super honest with you, I definitely have moments when I feel too small to pursue my God-sized dreams and what I believe God has purposed inside of me.
Sometimes, I find myself stuck in this rhythm of lies that pull me into myself and distract me from the reality that what God has purposed inside of me is not too small for Him…and really that is what matters most. I try to do it all on my own, but I am not made to; nor am I meant to execute it perfectly.
So when I sat down with Monet from Living and Loving Whole, her words swept over my heart and settled somewhere deep deep deep inside.
I love how she has this perspective of slow intentional living and showing up in courage to do the thing that God has called us to.
My favorite thing that she says is, “Jesus sets the pace”.
And let me tell you, that was just what this weary heart needed. We don’t have to get caught up in the comparison game of what everyone else seems to be accomplishing. We don’t need to go faster, slower, or strive to keep up. Jesus sets our pace. Grasping that was so freeing.
