The Diamonds 2022 conference is all about being #connected. Cassidy, along with 14 other speakers, spoke on chronic illness and community. In Cassidy’s session, “Why do I even need community? An honest conversation about loneliness, chronic illness, and God’s design for community”, she pulls back the layers of community and seeks to speak life into the lonely places.

What is your education?
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Missions & Evangelism. I am also a current Hope*Writers student.
What topics are you most passionate about?
I am most passionate about the victory we have in Jesus, cultivating an eternal perspective, faith in difficult seasons, and singleness.
How long have you been chronicially ill/disabled?
11 years.
Which audiences do you connect with most?
I think I relate most with other women who are going through some kind of deep struggle; whether or not it has to do with their health. I also really enjoy speaking with teenage girls and young adult women.
What other things are you passionate about?
Disability advocacy, modesty, purpose, and identity in Christ.
