I will be the first to admit that I have been in need of extra strength over the last couple of months.
2018 has been an emotional roller coaster. After I took this semester off to pursue a diagnosis, I began searching for more answers only to become confused and discouraged. Not only did I find that my body was in this state of weakness, but I began to feel my spirit become so upset and undone.
In some ways, I felt like my identity and the way I saw myself was shifting. This mental fortitude that I had sustained for so long just seemed to escape me. I became so disheartened as different doctors stated differing opinions and not one of them could begin to help me heal.
Maybe you are searching for something too.
It may not be a diagnosis or physical healing. But no matter what you are searching for or what you are going through, you cannot do it on your own strength. (How encouraging, right?) Eventually, our strength will run out, our patience will grow thin, and we will find ourselves wondering where we went wrong.
But, there is good news.
There is abundant strength to be found, and His name is Jesus.
Scripture is full of encouraging verses about the strength of our God. It would be impossible for me to list them all. But! I have compiled a short and sweet list of my 7 favorite Bible verses on strength. As you are walking through some painful, tiring, and tedious moments, I hope you will come back to these verses and remember the He is our strength and He alone is sufficient.

One of my favorite things to do with Scripture is to tape verses to my bathroom mirror. I find that I am most likely to read these reminders every day if I do.
So, if you are like me and enjoy a nice printable that you can hang up around the house, tuck in your Bible, or put on your desk, I have a gift for you! I have created a printable of these verses just for you!
